Growing up in Ecuador, Geovanny played soccer and studied architecture.  An opportunity to move to the United States became available, and he took it.  One of his first jobs was working for a large union electrical contractor in the south loop. This is where he began his career in the electrical industry.  A few years later, he was a salesperson with an electrical distributor where he quickly gained a following of electricians and contractors who appreciated his experience and assistance with their projects. When an opportunity arose to partner up with an existing electricial distributor that had been serving the community for over 50 years, Geovanny took it.  He helped grow the business to offer good service with good prices.  The economy took a turn and he weathered the storm, but coming out of it wasn't easy.  His partner decided to go in a different direction and that is when Geovanny made the decision to remain in the industry.  He chose to remain in the Rogers Park community to service the neighbors with their electrical needs.  So here on North Western Avenue, Pure Electric was born.

When Geo isn't at Pure, he enjoys oil painting, playing with his 2 boys and trys to accomplish stuff around the house on his wife's "To Do" list.  His boys are hoping papi can take them to Disney World some day soon.  Geo comes from a huge family in Ecuador, although a few live in Chicago and other states, he tries to return to visit as often as he can.  He is a huge sports fan, loves watching futbol Ecuadoriano and every Sunday is planted on the couch during Bears season.  You'll definitely find him flipping channels when the Bulls and Blackhawks are on at the same time.  And yes, now being a Northsider, he's a Cubs fan, to the dismay of his father-in-law...but has no problem enjoying a beer at "The Cell" if invited.

Tom was born into the electrical industry.  His father owned one of the largest independently owned electrical distributorships in Chicagoland where he had his first summer job.  Trying to go in a different direction, he graduated from college with a degree in communications and learned how to cook at a restaurant in Southern IL.  However, not long after graduating, was lured back when the job market was slow. Tom has worked side by side with his brother-in-law during the ups and downs for several years.  When Tom isn't selling pipe and wire, he's setting up sound equipment for events and parties. An avid snowmobiler and outdoorsman, you might find him on the trails of Northern Wisconsin throughout the year.  Tom enjoys watching the Blackhawks and Bears, although growing up on the Northside, is and has been a Sox fan since birth.

Gabe also hails from in Ecuador, coming to the states to raise a family.  Gabe started his electrical career with the City of Chicago's first registered electrical contracting firm and worked with them for nearly 20 years, working on projects like the University of Chicago.  He left the contracting world to work in electrical distribution and sales for a Northside company up until the opening of Pure Electric. Gabe completes the third leg in the family business adventure.  With well over 30 years experience, he is available to assist you with your electrical needs.  Outside of Pure Electric, Gabe can be found riding his Harley, bicycling with his lovely wife along the Lake Michigan shoreline or spoiling his 2 grandkids. He is also a devoted soccer and Bears fan, who you may catch on the couch Sunday afternoons in the fall and winter months.
